Residential Service Options
Bag Stop is a fantastic solution for individuals and residents who have a smaller amount of weekly trash. Simply leave your bags at the curb on your trash day and we'll be by to pick them up.

Stafford's cart service is our easiest and cleanest service option. Simply toss your waste into one of our 96 or 65-gallon carts*.
96-gallon carts can carry 6-7 tall kitchen bags worth of waste.
65-gallon carts can carry 4-5 tall kitchen bags worth of waste.

Carts are the property of Stafford Solid Waste and must be returned when service is discontinued.
In accordance with Indiana code 13-2.5, no electronics such as computer monitors, computer towers, televisions, printers, keyboards, mice, DVD players, VCRs, or fax machines can be taken to the landfill or disposed of by burning or incineration.
*Larger items such as appliances and furniture can be disposed of for an extra charge depending on the item, the customer must call ahead to arrange pickup or items will not be taken.
**Refrigerator and dehumidifiers must have Freon taken out and certified that they have been taken out.

Stafford's maintains a rigorous and reliable schedule year round. However, there are a few holidays that we feel are important to spend with family. So on these days, there will be no trash- garbage, or container pickup.

Should these days fall on your regular pick up day, please give us a call for your pickup schedule.
Helpful Information About Our Services:
- Have your trash out by 6:00 am on your pickup day.
- Our policy is one household per account on residential service.
- There is a 5-32 gallon bag limit. Extra will be $1.50/bag.
- Our residential billing is in a two-month cycle.
- Balances over a 30 day past due will be assessed a $2.00 late fee!
- Yard waste is $2.00/bag and must be called in ahead of time.
COMPLIANCE AND FUEL SURCHARGE
Compliance:
Environmental and Regulatory Surcharges are in place to help us recover the ongoing and increasingly complex environmental and compliance costs associated with the high quality operation of all collection, transfer station, landfill, material recovery and waste-to-energy facilities.
Fuel Surcharge:
The Fuel Surcharge is variable and is based on the US Department of Energy Midwest Region diesel price index to figure our adjustment percentage. This portion of the surcharge is in place to account for volatility in our fuel costs as it is uncontrollable and unpredictable.
You should be aware that none of the fees described in this policy are taxes imposed by and submitted to a governmental agency. These are charges used to recover costs incurred on a company-wide basis and to recover operating margins.
The charges and any adjustments thereto might not be directly associated with increased costs of servicing your specific account; rather, the charges and any adjustments thereto might be based upon costs and expenses incurred on a company wide basis.
